Ο λογαριασμός της Volkswagen ήταν ένας από τους αγαπημένους μου στην Cream. Αρχικά μαζί με τον creative μου Άρη Μεντζίνη και στην συνέχεια με το δικό μου γκρουπ δούλεψα για την VW περίπου 4 χρόνια. Το μεγαλύτερο διάστημα ήταν μέσα στην κρίση όπου οι πωλήσεις αυτοκινήτων είχαν αρχίσει να παρουσιάζουν κάμψη. Αυτό είχε σαν αποτέλεσμα να μην γυρίσουμε πολλές ταινίες. Παρ’όλα αυτά μερικές print δουλειές είχαν ενδιαφέρον και βραβεύτηκαν, στις δε ταινίες με έξυπνες προσαρμογές και συμπληρωματικά γυρίσματα, είχαμε πάντα customized αποτελέσματα τα οποία δούλεψαν και εξέπληξαν ακόμη τα «κεντρικά» της VW. Volkswagen account was one of my favorites while in Cream. Initially along with my creative director Aris Mentzinis and then with my own individual group I handled VW for about 4 years. Unfortunately car market in crisis resulted in not shooting a lot of movies. Nevertheless some prints were interesting enough and have been awarded. In VW tvc’s, smart adjustments and additional shooting, led to customized results that worked quite nice and surprised even the VW headquarters.

VW Passat TSI "Magic Trick" (Park assist additional shots) 2009, agency: Cream, production: x-rated, director: Takis Zervoulakos, creative director: Fotis Georgiou. We were asked to shoot additional footage for park assist in Passat. The original tvc had been shot 2 years earlier abroad. Takis Zervoulakos did great job here, simulating light, atmosphere and decor (the hole house is a scratchbuild decor) with the original foreign film.
VW Scirocco “Blows your mind” (alternative ending version) 2009, agency Cream. There were two alternative endings to choose from in the original film. A female cop chases down the Scirocco driver. When stopped she either falls down in dizziness or she lets him go cause she’s astounded by the car. Marketing of Kosmocar-Volkswagen asked for another solution. I came up with this that fits just fine with the potential hot blooded Scirocco driver in Greece. Line reads: Power game.

VW Golf launch 2009, Cream. A voice over combines footage from two different films in order to make a custom made solution that fit greek market needs.
